The Office for Catechetical Formation serves to support Catholic college students within the Archdiocese of Philadelphia by uniting them with either their university’s Newman Center or the nearest local parish. For a list of those schools, please see the drop down menu under “Collegiate.” Students attending school outside the Archdiocese of Philadelphia can connect to Newman Centers by using The Newman Connection.

Exciting news!

This morning, the Office of Communications circulated a press release which named Father Stephen DeLacy, Vicar, Office for Formation with Youth and Young Adults. http://archphila.org/the-archdiocese-of-philadelphia-announces-additional-key-leadership-appointments-to-further-its-new-model-for-ministry-and-evangelization-with-youth-and-young-adults/

The Office for Catechetical Formation will be part of this new and exciting structure which will provide a continuum for faith formation from our youngest believers through young adulthood.
The OCF staff are blessed to have Father as our dynamic leader and for the privilege in supporting  Father in his new role.
Please take a moment to read Father DeLacy’s letter of greeting to the D/CRES of the Archdiocese which follows.
